About Us — Broken Bow Investors

Broken Bow Investors was built from the owner’s side of the business, not a sales desk.
I’m Terry Ivie, Broker/Owner of Ivie Realty and property manager for Luxury Broken Bow Cabins. I didn’t start in this market selling cabins — I started by buying one. Our first cabin was purchased in 2004, and by 2008 we were actively developing and managing short-term rental properties here in Broken Bow and Hochatown.
That matters, because investors don’t need a tour guide — they need accurate numbers and honest expectations.
For nearly two decades we’ve been inside the operations: bookings, maintenance costs, seasonality, guest behavior, furnishing budgets, and what actually produces revenue vs. what just looks good in a listing photo. We track real rental performance daily, so when we talk about income projections, expenses, or location differences, it comes from operating properties — not guesswork.

My wife, April Ivie, has been my partner in life for over 35 years and is also a real estate broker in Texas. Together we’ve helped buyers transition from “thinking about a cabin” to owning a performing asset with a clear plan for management and long-term value.
We have two children, three grandchildren, and our shop supervisor is our dog, Ivy — who spends most of her time greeting owners and inspecting job sites.
Broken Bow Investors focuses on one thing: helping buyers purchase the right property for investment performance. Not every cabin makes money, not every location works, and not every floor plan rents well. Because we actively manage properties, we understand rental numbers, operating costs, and how to structure a cabin so it actually books.
Our role is simple:

  • Identify properties with real rental potential
  • Help you avoid expensive mistakes
  • Set realistic expectations
  • Connect you with furnishing, setup, and management so the property is ready to perform

We don’t chase transactions.
We build owners who succeed — because long-term relationships matter more than a single closing.
